I wanted to share our favorite kid magazine. The High Five Magazine from Highlights is awesome for the younger crowd.
We received it as a gift for Christmas this past year and I'm going to be sure to renew our subscription. The girls feel so grownup getting their own magazine.
I like the simple hidden pictures pages. They aren't so difficult to bamboozle my 3 year old but still enough fun for my 5 year old. Another great feature is their build it and make it articles.
The build it gives the kids ideas on what to use their blocks to build (like a post office, race track, or grocery store). The make it section gives a cute craft and a food item to make. Lots of fun and easy to do!
Making my house a home where my family can relax, grow and enjoy each other is my calling during this phase of my life. There are lots of things to do in this dwelling to fill it with the life I want my family to have. Please join me in my adventures in gardening, crafting, organizing, feeding, mothering and many other things while I try to make a home for my family.

It's been a long time...
Blogging got put on hold for a long time. Seems like life takes you by the hair, swings you around a few times and puts you down so you can catch your breath.
Life with baby number three has been marvelous! They say three is a charm and boy oh boy we have our charm. Little Guy is awesome and his big sisters have been amazing. Once Little Guy was born we started in strong with preschool for Big Sister.
Here we are a year later and Big Sister is in Kindergarten, Munchkin is getting ready for preschool next year and Little Guy is happily following us along!

The waiting game!
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and feeling like I'm 45 weeks. It's such a double edged sword, I'm anxious to meet the little guy but not feeling ready to be a mommy of three kids, 4 years old and under. Last week at a regular OB appointment the nurse detected his heart rate at 160bpm. This is fine for a regular baby, but made me a little nervous since I haven't seen it like that since I was put on medication for his SVT. After loosing it emotionally for the next several days the cardiologist assured me yesterday that he is doing just fine. Thank goodness. His heart rate should vary and there is nothing to worry about. I laughed at my sweet cardiologist who has no kids. She then told me he's gotten bigger since she has seen me last, I confirmed telling her the hospital measured him at 6 pounds 4 ounces last week. She looked pleased said good and I said she obviously hasn't pushed a kid out yet. There's lots of time for this kid to gain a few more pounds and make that head grow even bigger. :) I'm so excited, another big baby! :) Kaitlyn was 9 pounds 12 ounces, Adeline was 8 pounds 5 ounces (at a week early) and so I can't wait to see what our son is. Here is a recent ultrasound, enjoy!
